I was sitting at the dinner table with three of my grandchildren who ranged from age one to four. We were laughing and talking about the days events, when Samuel turned towards me and said, "I love you, grandma". His face shone with the brightest smile as if he had just come to a big revelation about how he was feeling in his heart. I smiled back at him and returned the words of love.

Brilliant thinkers and spiritual scholars lined the room as they talked and poured over a great table filled with manuscripts. They ran quickly to the over flowing book shelves looking for even more documents to explain the strange occurrence that was stirring in the cosmos. An incredible new sight lit up the night sky and it even shone brightly during the light of day!

They pulled out every parchment where the stars were precisely diagramed.

"Caleb it's time to take out the trash." The fight following that simple request was like a tornado ramming into the house and taking off the roof. Screams erupted and before I could back out of his room we were in a shouting match over a chore that would have taken less than two minutes if he had just paused his game long enough to get it done.

My fears mounted as each day passed with yet another set of tests declaring that the cancer is still present. Relatives I hadn't seen for years began parading into my hospital room. They're expressions reflected concern mixed with deathbed goodbyes.

The whole time this was happening to me I just kept thinking, why me? Why did God allow cancer to hold me for ransom? What am I suppose to be learning from all of this pain I am suffering from this disease?

Have you ever felt like your life was perfect one moment and then all of sudden everything changed.

Without any hesitation my son threw an entire glass of soda on my new wife while we were waiting for food in a restaurant. I don't even remember what the argument was about. It was just a small difference of opinion that escalated as if spurred by a demon force that wanted to destroy my marriage!

In a flash, what was going to be a fun time with dinner and a movie, turned into whom did I love more, my eleven year old son or my new wife.

I walked out onto my lavish upstairs veranda and looked over the multitude of homes that lined the city. My eyes suddenly fell upon a beautiful woman through the parted curtains of a small house not far from my home. The shape of her breast and the curve of her hips sent feelings quickly into my body filling me with desire. I wanted her, now!

I sought to find out whom she was and if she would see me.

Looking around to see if anyone was around, he took a huge rock and without hesitation smashed it into his rival's skull. Then he quickly picked up a limb with a sharp point and dug into the soil near the lifeless body. Within a few minutes the whole was big enough to roll his victim in and cover him with the soft dirt.

Running from the grave he felt himself shaking all over with rage.

Gabriel is my grey and white speckled four year old miniature Schnauzer dog. He is soft and cuddly and the best little ball of warmth on frigid winter days. His greatest entertainment is when I sit on the floor and I command him to find a ball. In excitement he begins to jump up and down anticipating my throws, some he catches in midair and others he runs the length of my living room and dining room breathlessly scooping up the ball in his mouth and bringing it back at breakneck speed.

The Devil and his demon generals sat on one side of a huge cosmic table while Jesus and His angels of light sat across from them. An argument was proceeding from the great voice of Satan demanding that Jesus let go of His protection over the people of the earth. Satan shouted, "Release the storms you have held back from me, for I must test the people of earth!"

It was an unusually warm and humid February day.

Excitement exploded as Bailey drove up in an ice blue, Honda Civic, with chrome spinner wheels. The car handles were shaved and it had geometric shaped designs on both sides of the car in silver and traced in black. The sound that came from the speakers filled the air with a rhythmic beat of heart pounding bass.

With one flick of a switch, mounted near the gear shift, the car began to show off its brand new custom hydraulics.
