You may have heard other mothers say that you can only wear your own clothes for so long. Around the end of your first trimester you’ll begin showing. Depending on how big you get and how fast you get that big, you may be getting maternity clothes sooner rather than later. You also have the choice of wearing baggy clothes such as sweatpants.

When you begin your look around for maternity clothes, you may want someone near by to catch you when you fall. Why is that? Maternity clothes are not cheap in many stores and it leaves many women with a sour taste in their mouths. Some shirts can cost in excess of $50 or more. Pants can be costly. Add these items to bras, underwear and anything else you choose you need it can add up quickly.

A maternity shirt can cost in upwards of $50 depending on where the woman shops. Pants can be rather expensive too. Not to mention the bras and the underwear they have to get to go along with their expanding bellies. It would seem that maternity clothing like the rest of baby shopping is expensive.

However, does this actually have to be the case? No, it doesn’t. Women can find cheap maternity clothes that are either gently used or even new for low prices. That means the top you saw at the Gap can be found somewhere else much cheaper.

So where can you go to find these cheap maternity clothes? Try using the World Wide Web. One website you can visit is eBay. Some clothing can be bought for just a few bucks including shipping. However, you’ll want to know who you are dealing with so look at their feedback rating and feedback responses. If you have questions, be sure to email the seller about it. You can also look at another online merchant: Motherhood Maternity. This store sells mostly maternity wear. There is plenty to choose from.
