It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of FIFA, a fact that’s especially evident if you’re unfortunate enough to follow me on Twitter. Though my frustration didn’t quite reach the level of cattiness that we’re seeing between Landon Donovan and David Beckham, I do wish that I could’ve attended EA’s recent sports day in Vancouver to play FIFA 10. Instead, Andrew Pfister attended, and got hands-on with EA’s latest iteration of footy fever.
Personally, I’m excited by the idea of DIY set-pieces (the sport has boiled down to set-pieces and counter-attacks, if you ask me), although I really want to know more about the practice drills. I’m worse than my beloved San Jose Earthquakes at getting goals out of free kicks, so anything that’ll keep me from getting smeared by a 12 year-old Scottish kid online will be an immense help.
If you’re a FIFA fan, what are you hoping to see in FIFA 10?
