Are you dying to attend BlizzCon 2009 in Anaheim, CA (August 21-22), but you’d rather not shell out the necessary cash for a ticket? Well, legendary gaming peripheral manufacturer Razer might be able to help.
Between now and July 31, you can participate in Razer’s BlizzCon Contest by visiting the company’s site, and completing various "quests" that are assigned to you once you sign up for the contest. Each quest you complete enters you for a specific prize, and once you have finished two quests, you’ll be entered to win the grand prize: two plane tickets, a hotel room, $300 cold hard cash and, of course, two tickets to this year’s BlizzCon.
If you’re lucky enough to win the contest, but you’d rather not attend this year’s event, then you can opt for the Razer Prize package instead (a Razer Death Adder mouse, a Razer Carcharias headset, a Razer Lycosa keyboard and $500 “determined by the winner’s choice”). Of course, if you choose this option, you might want to avoid your Blizzard fan friends for a while.
Well? What are you waiting for? Get questing. BlizzCon 2009 awaits!
