Abstain From 4 Kinds of Food to Achieve Weight Loss Quickly

Who says that it is very difficult to lose weight? In fact, if you ask me, I would say that you can lose weight easily and naturally if you follow an efficient and systematic weight loss plan. One of the reasons why most people are never successful in achieving permanent weight loss is their attraction to quick weight loss diets, also known as fad diets. These diets satisfy most people by showing them a dipping scale at the beginning, but once they stop dieting, they get back to the same position as before, sometimes gaining some extra pounds as bonus! If you want to lose weight efficiently and permanently, just follow the four tips I outline in this article:

1. Processed and Starchy foods are a big no no: You know what, most of the starchy foods available there are rich in sugar. Same is the case with processed food packages. Sugar converts into glucose quickly and while a part of glucose is used to produce energy, most of it is deposited in your body as fat. Foods such as cakes, chocolates, pizzas, white rice should be avoided at all costs! You need to replace these foods with nuts, grains, whole grain wheat, legumes, etc.

It is for this reason that you should avoid eating at fast-food restaurants. Their menus mostly comprises of food which has high starch content.

2. Avoid drinking Alcohol: This is because Alcohol has extremely high sugar content. In fact it is a form of sugar. We get beer through a process of fermentation where yeast is used to convert fruits juices to alcohol. Another drink that should be avoided because of high carbohydrates content is soda.

3. Eat frequent, small meals: Weight loss is only possible when you are ready to change you entire lifestyle, not just a couple of habits. One such major change should be the frequency of your meals. If you used to eat three large meals in one day, and fill in the intervals with calorie-rich snacks, you need to change that. You should eat five-to-six small meals everyday. Doing so will help your body burn the foods more efficiently. Plus your metabolic rate will be high at all times! This way you will lose weight very quickly!

4.Abstain from Soft drinks. Soft drinks are just water mix with sugar and flavorings. They are what we term as “empty calories”. If you are not the exercising type, the more that you should avoid drinking soft drinks. Because of the high sugar content, by just drinking a single bottle of soft drinks, to get rid of the calories, you need to exercise for 30 minutes at the treadmill just to burn away them. Imagine if your daily consumption of soft drinks are three to four bottles daily!
