How Your PH Level Affects Your Health

PH levels in our bodies and balancing them is one of the most overlooked yet important things you need to be educated on. Having an acidic ph level is turning your body into breeding ground for harmful bacteria, fungis and viruses. The recommended PH levels and the natural state of healthy people and newborns is about 7.2 to 7.4. PH levels below 7 are acidic and unhealthy. PH level of 7 is neutral and PH level above 7 is considered to be alkaline or “base”. While your saliva may normal drop to a ph level of 6 this is still considered to be within a healthy during and just before meals. Your blood, urine, saliva, digestive juices, mucus, and the fluids inside and outside of the cells each have an optimum pH level. The healthiest pH level of your blood should be between 7.2 and 7.4.

Medical tests for pH level are usually a reference of the BLOOD pH level. As you may by now realize, maintaining the right pH level in your blood is pretty important. Research shows that unless the body’s pH level is slightly alkaline, the body cannot heal itself.
