So you have seen the fitness versions grace the covers and webpages of magazines. You have also seen the actual Hollywood and soap opera superstars taking their shirts off revealing their extraordinary physiques. You may also have seen someone personally, in flesh and bones, who has that awe-inspiring muscular physique.

Seeing all this, you might have felt frustrated and asked yourself the same question over and over – “why not me? ” Well believe it or even not, building a muscular physique is not limited to a privileged couple of. 1. Exercising: Exercising, especially weight training, can systematically subject your body’s muscles to such stress levels that they break down, causing those micro-tears.

2. Eating right: Dieting is also critical with regard to building muscle. If you don’t eat enough then your body won’t receive the extra material to pad inches over your biceps. For muscle building, protein is the most important nutrient and hence a muscle building diet ought to be rich in protein.

3. Resting: You have torn your muscle tissue. You have also fed them with nutrients. Now you have to give them the time so that they can heal and make way with regard to new muscle formation. If you start exercising again without any rest, then you are subjecting the torn muscles to double tension. They will be again broken, before they can even completely recover. This way muscle gain won’t ever take place. To ensure that this does not happen, you must get enough rest which include plenty of sleep.

Using this combination of good weight lifting exercise, eating plenty of protein, and getting enough rest, you should have no trouble building muscle with time. The real key is to become patient and stick with your program long enough for this to bring you good results.
