A shooting in Jersey City, New Jersey early Thursday morning left two suspects dead and 5 police officers wounded.
The shooting began around 5 a.m. when a suspect, who was under investigation for a crime that occurred two weeks ago, shot at a patrol car and injured an officer. About 2 hours after the first shooting, officers raided a building where two suspects were hiding.
The officers and suspects exchanged gunfire. Four of the officers were wounded and the two suspects were killed. No other details on the shooting were available.
At least one of the wounded is in critical condition. Details on the conditions of the others were not released.
